ABOUT ME

 Krystof Dolezal is a postdoctoral fellow at Central European University (funded by the Austrian Academy of Sciences) and a research fellow at the project Scaling the Transnational (STEPPE) led by the Centre Marc Bloch, Berlin. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the Central European University (with distinction). His research focuses on Eastern Europe, political ideologies, and the role of religion in politics.

Krystof has held research positions at the European University Institute, Harvard, and Stanford. His work has been supported by the Fulbright Commission, the Institute of Human Sciences (IWM), and the Hoover Institution. His research appeared in Europe-Asia Studies, Politics, Religion & Ideology, and Journal of Democracy. Outside academia, Krystof served as a political advisor in Czech party politics and in the cabinet of the Vice Prime Minister.
